Every booking includes a mandatory digital liability waiver that guests sign before checkout. Additionally, guests carry $1M trip protection insurance (paid by the guest as part of their booking fee). Florida's Recreational Use Statute (F.S. §375.251) also provides landowner protection for recreational access. You are not responsible for guest negligence.
"What if a guest damages my property?"
You can require a security deposit on any booking — you set the amount. If damage occurs, use the in-app damage report tool. LeaseWild's support team reviews and facilitates resolution. You can also enable Auto-host rules that screen guests by rating and verification level before they can even book.
"What if a guest breaks my rules?"
Every guest must read and accept your specific property rules before completing their booking. Rules violations are a breach of their booking agreement. You can cancel an active booking for rule violations and retain the full booking fee. You can also block any guest permanently with one tap.
"I don't want strangers knowing where my land is."
Listings show only a general region — never your exact address or GPS coordinates. Exact location is revealed only after a booking is confirmed. You can also enable Private Listing Mode: your property shows only to verified users, and you approve each booking manually before it's confirmed.
"What if I don't want to deal with people?"
Enable Auto-host Mode: auto-approve guests who meet your requirements (verified ID + hunting license + minimum rating). The platform handles messaging, reminders, and coordination. You just collect your payout.
"What if I want to cancel or remove my listing?"
Cancel any booking instantly (subject to your cancellation window). Remove your listing at any time with one click. No contracts. No lock-in. You're never obligated to continue.

Do I need a lawyer or insurance?
No. LeaseWild handles the liability waiver, trip protection insurance (paid by the guest), and secure payment processing. Florida's Recreational Use Statute (F.S. §375.251) provides additional statutory protection. You do not need a separate attorney or insurance policy to list.
Who handles the liability waiver?
LeaseWild generates and delivers a legally compliant digital liability waiver to every guest as part of the checkout flow. Guests must sign before their booking is confirmed. Signed waivers are stored and accessible in your landowner portal at any time.
What if I want to cancel a booking I approved?
You can cancel any confirmed booking within your cancellation window at no cost. For emergencies outside the window, contact LeaseWild support. The guest receives a full refund and you will not be charged a fee for first-time cancellations.
Can I limit which species are hunted?
Yes. Your listing includes a fully customizable rules section. You can specify permitted species, restricted areas, weapon types, season restrictions, and anything else you require. Guests must acknowledge these rules before completing their booking.
How do I get paid?
Guest payment is captured at checkout via Stripe. Funds are held securely and released after guest check-in. Direct deposit arrives in your bank account within 3–5 business days. No chasing, no invoices — it's automatic.
Is there a contract or lock-in?
No contracts. No lock-in. List for free, remove your listing at any time with one click. You are never obligated to accept any booking or continue using the platform.
What if I get a bad guest?
Block them permanently with one tap — they can never book your land again. You can rate guests after each booking, which contributes to their Trust Score visible to all landowners. Bad actors are removed from the platform after verified complaints.
