Before you sign up

It depends on the state and the water. In most states, if a pond is fully enclosed on private land and has no connection to navigable public waterways, a fishing license is not required. LeaseWild verifies this for every fishing listing and shows the specific exemption right on the listing page. No guessing.

Every booking automatically includes $1M in general liability coverage for both the guest and the landowner. A state-compliant digital waiver is signed at checkout. If there's a dispute, our support team mediates.

Payouts go through Stripe directly to your bank account. Landowners keep 85% of each booking. Payouts are issued weekly for all completed trips. No setup fees, no monthly costs.

We're launching first in Florida, Texas, Montana, Georgia, Alabama, and Tennessee. We're onboarding landowners in all 50 states now so you'll be first when your state goes live.

Traditional hunting leases are annual contracts — you pay $1,500–$5,000 upfront and hope the land delivers. LeaseWild is day-access and weekend bookings. No long-term commitment. Landowners can also offer seasonal leases if they prefer that model.
